I’m so glad you’re here! My goal is to bring order to your finances and make sense of your numbers, so you have the time to focus on your business and make insightful and empowered decisions to keep growing and thriving!
Just a little professional background on me: I am a licensed CPA with 10+ years of progressive public accounting and corporate accounting experience. I have both my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Accounting and Finance. My work experience includes overseeing the accounting and finance functions (monthly close and forecasting as well as annual budgeting) in the capacity of a Controller for a division of a Fortune 500 company. I’ve also worked in external audit, internal audit and internal controls compliance where I honed my process improvement skills.
So why did I leave? Well, after helping out a few friends with their bookkeeping, I discovered my passion for helping small business owners and entrepreneurs grow and succeed by providing them the financial insights needed to make important business decisions quickly. There is no greater reward than knowing I can have a direct positive impact on someone’s life by helping to navigate finances and bringing order and understanding to his/her numbers.

Personally speaking, I am married to my wonderful husband Sylwester (Sly!) and a mama to two amazing little girls, Izabela and Natalia. When I am not serving my clients, I love to get outside with my girls and spend time making memories with my family.

I’m happy you found our page! My goal is the same as Anna’s. I am excited to help you better understand where you are in your business by making sense of all your numbers for you.
Prior to becoming Co-Owner of Modern Insights Accounting, I worked as a bookkeeper for over 4 years at a Real Estate Management firm where my primary responsibilities included monthly close, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations. And long before that, I managed my husband’s finances for his construction company from A to Z (including receipt / document management, assisted payroll processing, annual 1099 filing, year-end tax report preparation / meeting with tax accountant). (He’s been lucky to have us for close to 10 years!). I have extensive experience working in Quickbooks (both Desktop and Online) and knowledge of the ins and out of the construction / trades industries.
We created Modern Insights Accounting to leverage our knowledge and passions and help small business owners grow and thrive by giving them the financial tools and understanding they need in order to do so.
I am a wife to my amazing husband, Tom, and a mama to my three beautiful girls, Klaudia, Emilia, and Hanna. On my free time, I love spending time together as a family, making home cooked meals, exploring nature, and making memories with my family along the way!
